U.P. added to our latest Air Quality Alert on Sunday – Northern News Now

WEATHER STORY: We have to pick our poison this summer it seems. Humid and stormy or cooler with Air Quality Alerts. Now that the Saturday morning storm system is leaving, we have a new Air Quality Alert for MN and the U.P. until Tuesday. The week ahead will stay warm but humidity will be down a touch. So, heat advisories have been dropped.
SUNDAY: Mostly sunny most of the time but the warmth may lift up spotty and scattered sun showers. The high will be near 81. Breezy, with a southwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
SUNDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy, with a low around 58. West wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
MONDAY: Sunny, with a high near 82. West wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
MONDAY NIGHT: A 40% chance for showers and thunderstorms will roll around the region. The low will be around 62. Southwest wind around 5 mph.
TUESDAY: Sunny, with a high near 80. West wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
TUESDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy, with a low around 55. Northwest wind around 5 mph.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny, with a high near 78. West wind around 5 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon.
THE REST OF THE WEEK: 80’s will come back by Thursday. It will cool back to the 70’s by next Sunday.
