The Nigeria Labour Congress on Wednesday issued a two-week ultimatum to the Federal Government to reverse the hikes in electricity tariff and the fuel pump price.

Senator Godswill Akpabio, the Niger Delta Affairs Ministers, has denied accusing some members of the National Assembly of benefiting from the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) contracts.
Recall that while appearing before a House of Representatives committee probing an alleged mismanagement of ₦81.5 billion by the commission in July, Akpabio had said lawmakers were the biggest beneficiaries of contracts awarded by the NDDC.
