If you stay in Calabar and you are frequent around Atekong, you would have noticed a MAD guy that is always aggressive and throws tantrums a lot.

He always threatens to hit you with a stone and I have seen him hit people twice with that stone.

I branched there some days ago to repair my phone and for no reason, this boy started shouting at me and hurling insults towards me.

I was so calm and didn’t say a word, it would be senile for me to exchanging words with a MAD guy right?

MY phone repairer was not around and I decided to leave as it was threatening to rain, it felt as if the sky was in a fist fight with the earth and it was going to burst open soon.

This guy kept raining insults on me and the more I ignored him the more it fueled his ego.

Just as I was about to cross the road, this guy ran after me and hit me with a stone on my shoulder and walked back to his MENTAL post.

I was so livid, he sat down with an aura that says “I don’t hit you, wetin you fit do”.

People kept telling me to just leave him and go but I just couldn’t. He’s not the only one MAD in this country.

I walked up to him and gave him two resounding slaps. I have never seen a MAD person run that fast to seek for succour.

I could swear that I heard him speak QUEENS ENGLISH as he held his jaw.

I was deliberate about the Slap and I’m sure it cured something inside him.

I went to check my phone today and I didn’t see him. When I asked after him, they said he’s not been there since the slap.

I don’t know how true that is but it really made me happy.
