A disturbing incident reportedly occurred at Black Box Club in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, where a man launched a violent attack on a group of women celebrating a birthday.

According to one of the victims, the altercation began when the man demanded to sit on a chair that had been reserved by the celebrants. After being told the seat was taken, he became aggressive and physically assaulted the women.

One of the victims has now identified the attacker as Maduba Okechi Christian, CEO of Ceemore Global Limited. She claims he became violent after demanding to sit at a table they had already reserved. When refused, he smashed a bottle on her friend’s head, knocked out another’s tooth, and stripped one of them, shouting that they “didn’t know who he is.”

The victim also revealed that when she tried to record the incident for evidence, a Mobile Police Officer (MOPOL) escorting him smashed her phone, while the club’s staff reportedly aided his escape instead of intervening.

Even more troubling, she says this wasn’t an isolated case: “We later found out this isn’t the first time he’s harassed women at that club, and yet he’s protected because of his status.”
