UAE expresses solidarity with Nigeria – ARN News Centre

The United Arab Emirates has expressed its solidarity with the Federal Republic of Nigeria following floods that submerged the town of Mokwa in Niger State, in the north of the country, resulting in dozens of deaths and substantial damage to property.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, as well as to the government and people of Nigeria over the tragedy.

Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of a major fire that raged on for nearly 24 hours at Sharjah's Al Hamriyah Port.
The International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council's documentary "Hope Remains" illustrates the UAE’s pivotal role in supporting those affected by the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his Lebanese counterpart Joseph Aoun have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen bilateral ties during a phone call.
A fire that erupted on Saturday morning at a fuel warehouse in the Al Hamriyah Port area has been contained with no injuries, Sharjah Police has confirmed.
